Reyer Venezia, Neven Spahija summons fans: European journey begins

The 2025-2026 season of Reyer Venezia will officially kick off at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Palasport Taliercio. The first goal of the season is to be achieved in the European arena: the orogranata, in fact, begin against Aris their season in the Eurocup, the second tournament organized by Euroleague Basketball, which is also important because it gives the final winner the pass to play in the Euroleague the following year.
“We are happy that the season finally starts in an official way – said Reyer coach Neven Spahija at the presentation of the match – We are happy to be able to debut in front of our public, which is always a great advantage for us. The team is very prepared and focused, we have worked well in recent weeks”.
“We face a team like Aris that has a lot of talent, although with seven new players– he added.
We have analyzed their preseason and we are convinced that their results do not reflect their real quality: they are a dangerous team, but we are ready.
Our goal is to continue the path started in the preseason”.
“We definitely need to be better and more consistent on defense, but in general we can continue to improve in all aspects of the game” then concluded Spahija, who began this summer his second full season at the helm of Reyer Venezia, to which must be added the final phase of 2023-2024 in which he took over from Walter De Raffaele.
