A new option for Dany Mota

Among the profiles possibly leaving Monza for the January market, Dany Mota is one of the hottest names. The Portuguese striker, who had expressed a desire not to be relegated to Serie B with the Brianzoli, had ended up in the sights of several clubs in the summer, including Pisa and Cremonese, but in the last few hours a new track has emerged that leads straight to his homeland.
In addition to the already known interest of Samsunspor and preliminary contacts reported in Turkey, Vitória Guimarães would also swoop on the class of ’98. The destination would be particularly pleasing to the player, not only because of his landing in Liga Portugal, but also because it would guarantee him a showcase in national terms. The goal, however decidedly difficult to achieve, remains to play a chance to join the Portuguese selection for the upcoming World Cup.
Dany Mota, who was born in Luxembourg, arrived in Italy in 2019 after his experience with Jong PSV in the Netherlands, initially passing through Juventus U23. But it was at Monza that he built his most significant and satisfying career: a protagonist in the historic promotion to Serie A, he scored important goals and offered convincing performances especially in the cadetteria seasons.
Braga, which has not started its championship particularly well and has reportedly already felt the ground in the past, also remains vigilant, but Vitória could offer Mota (who missed the last matches of the team coached by Bianco due to injury, ed.) a starring role and precious minutes to put himself back on display.
Monza, for its part, is ready to move after the corporate revolution and is evaluating offers, waiting to see which option will be more convincing for the player and more useful for the club.
