Novak Djokovic outspoken after knockout with Jannik Sinner: "It’s not nice to get your butt kicked"

Novak Djokovic commented on his defeat to Jannik Sinner in the semifinals of the Six Kings Slam: “I’m sorry you couldn’t see a longer match today. It is his fault (referring to Sinner, ed.), not mine. I tried to intimidate him a little bit’ in that last game on the 0-15 point, but it didn’t work. He looked like a runaway train. He was hitting the ball from every angle. He was just too strong. Congratulations to him and good luck in the final”.

The love for the game and the passion for tennis are there – added the Serbian champion in the end-of-match interview’Excuse the language, but it is never nice when someone kicks your butt like that on the court. It is really amazing to still be able to play at a high level, though. To be in the top 5, top 10…is a great feeling”.
