L'Udinese knocks out Torino in just a few minutes

Udinese overcame Torino 2-0 in the first 3 p.m. Saturday advance at Bluenergy Stadium valid for the 35th day of Serie A. Runjaic’s team came out on top thanks to goals from Ehizibue and Kristensen, interrupting Torino’s positive streak: in the standings, the Bianconeri are 10th on 47 points, the Granata 13th on 41. Both teams have nothing more to ask from the championship.
An entertaining first half between two formations with no particular thoughts, with chances on both sides, Simeone for the Piedmontese, Ehizibue for the Friulians. On 22′ Buksa hits the post, then Zaniolo gets his 1-0 goal cancelled for offside. Shortly afterwards again the former Roma man creates a nice chance at the end of a personal action but is denied by Coco at the moment of a shot on the line.
The hosts still take the lead at the end of the first half with Ehizibue, who takes advantage of a mistake by Obrador on Ekkelenkamp’s cross to score the go-ahead goal.
Udinese immediately doubled at the beginning of the second half, closing the file: on the development of a corner, Kristensen at 51′ got there before anyone else with a header and beat Paleari for the second time. The home team continued to attack and came close to making it 3-0 with Ekkelenkamp, the guests, on the other hand, never managed to make themselves dangerous: for Roberto D’Aversa’s team it was certainly a step backward compared to the last outings. The match ends without any other emotions.
