The 6 p.m. match of the 35th day of Serie A between Como and Napoli ends without goals: at Sinigaglia, the Larians create more chances but fail to get through, Antonio Conte’s team rises to 70 and is now sure of Champions League qualification. Fabregas’ men are still fifth at 62, -2 from Juventus, fourth but with one game less.

The best chances of the first half are of the Larian brand: at 8′ Douvikas has a great chance on an assist from Nico Paz, but his shot is rejected on the line by Rrahmani with Milinkovic Savic beaten. Napoli struggles and creates some insidiousness only on spot kicks, while Fabregas’ team has a huge chance with Diao who misses on 31′ in one-on-one with the Napoli’s extreme defender.

In the second half Antonio Conte’s team fails to shift gears, Como keeps possession of the ball but does not break through and the match drops in pace. In the 60′ the hosts have another great chance with Diao, who sends a header over the crossbar, and a few minutes later with Baturina.

Napoli overcomes the moment of difficulty and shows up in the final part of the match: in the 80′ McTominay gives Butez the shivers by finishing just wide, while in the 85′ Politano hits the post. It ends here: Napoli is now -9 behind Inter, who will only need a point to win the Scudetto on Sunday at San Siro with Parma.
