Italvolley in Brazil, kicks off (without Paola Egonu) VNL 2026

The march towards the first week of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2026 has begun. Tonight, the Italian national team led by coach Julio Velasco will depart from Malpensa to Brasilia, with a stopover in Lisbon, where it will be engaged in Pool 2 of the tournament.
The Azzura women’s team, after the gathering at Centro Pavesi, will take the field at Palasport Nilson Nelson in the Brazilian capital to face an immediately challenging schedule. The opener is set for June 3 against Bulgaria (9:30 p.m. Italian time), followed by a match against the Netherlands on the night of June 5-6 (1 a.m. Italian time). Then Italy will face Turkey on June 6 at 8:30 p.m., before closing out the first week with the prestigious match against Brazil, scheduled for June 7 at 7:30 p.m. All of the Azzurri’s matches will be broadcast live on DAZN.
