Juventus market, between Sorloth and Kolo Muani, the name you don’t expect remains in the running

The first week of June has already marked a turning point in Juventus’ market: the final black smoke for the renewal of Dusan Vlahovic, who will therefore leave on a zero-parameter basis, has opened new and, in part, unexpected scenarios for the Bianconeri club. The goal is to have a new heavyweight striker as soon as possible, as the team will assemble under Spalletti’s orders in no more than forty days, in the aftermath of the 2026 World Cup.

For weeks, the club has been closely following the situation of Randal Kolo Muani, who had left excellent memories in Turin before his move to Tottenham (again on loan from PSG): the Frenchman was sucked into Spurs’ complicated season, saved only on the last day, but he remains a profile Juventus likes, especially for his technical characteristics and ductility.

Parallel, the Alexander Sorloth track continues to be monitored with interest. The Norwegian has important numbers, a cost similar to that of Kolo Muani (about 30 million euros plus classic performance-related bonuses) and a physical profile that the management likes a lot. But he’s not the only name on the table.

In the last few hours, in fact, the hypothesis, never quite gone away, linked to Mauro Icardi is regaining momentum. The Argentine, who turned 33 in February, has never hidden his desire to return to Serie A and considers next season a sort of last big chance to return to the Bel Paese. His entourage has moved, contacts are not lacking, and Juventus is watching carefully, aware that the operation would be relatively cheap.

The picture, in short, is far from defined. Juventus is moving on several fronts, with the need to be ready on the eve of an important season, given the bitter epilogue of the one that just ended. And while Kolo Muani remains a concrete target and Sorloth a credible track, the Icardi hypothesis represents that unexpected factor that can turn the tables in a summer that promises to be long and full of entanglements.
