Two matches, part of the World Cup group stage, were played last night. Sweden made a strong debut, defeating Tunisia 5-1 in a convincing victory that showcased their remarkable talent, particularly on the offensive end.

The Swedish national team showcased its forwards Isak and Gyokeres, who each scored a goal. However, Ayari stole the show with a brace. Thanks to this victory, the Swedish national team leads Group F, aided by the draw between the Netherlands and Japan. Tunisia is left with a bitter taste in its mouth after dreaming of a very different World Cup debut.

The Ivory Coast is also smiling after a last-minute victory over Ecuador (final score 1-0, Group E match). The decisive goal came in the 90th minute from former Atalanta player Diallo.

A disappointing match for Ecuador, which hit the woodwork three times before capitulating in the final moments: Yeboah and Minda struck the crossbar, while the post denied Valencia in the second half. Ecuador had not lost a match in 19 consecutive games.
