A major coup for Napoli: Marco Spissu has signed. Details of the deal

Marco Spissu arrives in Naples: his signing with Guerri is official, as the club announced in an official press release. “Guerri Napoli Basket announces that it has signed a two-year contract with Marco Spissu. The point guard, born in Sassari on February 5, 1995, and standing 185 centimeters tall, has extensive experience at the highest levels of both national and European competition.”
“A product of Dinamo Sassari’s youth system, with whom he made his Serie A1 debut in the 2012–2013 season, Spissu played for Bari, Piacenza, Reggio Calabria, and Tortona early in his career. In the 2016–2017 season, in Serie A2, he played for Virtus Bologna, averaging 11.7 points and 3.1 assists per game.”
“In 2017, Spissu returned to Sassari, playing four consecutive seasons in Sardinia and making his European debut in both the FIBA Cup and the Champions League. He had his best season in 2020–2021, averaging 13.2 points and 5.4 assists, shooting 45% from 3-point range, and was also a key player in the playoffs, once again finishing with double-digit averages. With Dinamo in 2019, he won both the Italian Super Cup and the FIBA Europe Cup.”
“In 2021–2022, the point guard played in Russia for Unics Kazan, where he was also a key player in the EuroLeague, before returning to the LBA with Venice, where he had two strong seasons, finishing the 2022–2023 season with averages of 10.2 points and 5.4, 49.2 from beyond the arc, while also staying in double figures during the postseason. With Reyer, Spissu also played in the EuroCup. Over the past two years, Spissu has played in the ACB, Spain’s top league, with Zaragoza. In the final game of the season, he hit the game-winning shot that allowed the Spanish team to avoid relegation.”
“His excellent performances in the league also earned him a call-up to the national team. After progressing through the youth ranks, Spissu represented Italy at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, the subsequent World Championships, and—on two occasions—the European Championships.”
