Turin Transfer Market: The Granata Have Made an Offer for Lorenzo Lucca

Is Lorenzo Lucca returning to Turin? The Moncalieri forward, a product of the Granata youth academy, could leave Napoli in the coming weeks if another striker joins Massimiliano Allegri’s squad. Among the most likely future destinations is Urbano Cairo’s club, which, compared to other suitors, has reportedly been more proactive.

According to rumors, Torino could step forward with a loan offer that includes an option to buy, while Napoli would prefer more binding buyout terms. Lucca is waiting for a signal from Allegri, but Napoli seems set on signing another center forward, with Gabriel Jesus at the top of their list.

After the Coppa Italia match won against Carrarese, Torino coach Ignazio Abate strongly called for reinforcements: “We need to raise the level of internal competition; we need to raise the technical standard. We have some structural limitations, so I’m expecting a lot in these two weeks.”

Torino’s outgoing transfers could also free up resources to finance new signings.
