Juventus has ruled out Michele Di Gregorio and Jonathan David: both players have been left off the roster for the traditional intra-club friendly against Juventus Next Gen, scheduled for Monday, August 17, at 6:30 p.m. The goalkeeper, who will be replaced by Guglielmo Vicario, arriving from Tottenham, is set to leave and is being targeted by clubs in Italy and abroad.

The situation is more complicated for the Canadian forward, who in recent interviews had consistently emphasized his desire to stay in Turin to redeem himself and prove his worth to Luciano Spalletti: but the Tuscan coach has now written him off, and the Old Lady wants to force his departure in some way. The Bianconeri’s goal is to sell him in order to recoup the necessary funds and free up space for one final signing in attack: Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is reportedly the frontrunner.

As for Di Gregorio, the path to his departure now seems clear. The goalkeeper, valued at around 15 million euros, has already attracted serious interest from Valencia, which has contacted Juventus and expressed a willingness to make a purchase. Marseille also remains a possibility in the background. In Italy, meanwhile, Torino and Monza have stepped forward.

As for David, the situation has been dragging on for weeks. The Canadian, who arrived on a free transfer from Lille a year ago, has proven to be a disappointment with just 7 goals in 39 official appearances, while his salary of 6 million euros net per season is weighing on the club’s finances. Among the interested clubs was PSG, which later shifted its focus to Ferran Torres. Several Premier League clubs have also made inquiries; among them, Aston Villa appears to be the most serious.
