2026-2027 Nations League: Kosovo vs. Austria, Probable Lineups

Kosovo and Austria will face off on Sunday at 6 p.m. in a Nations League Group B match. The game, which will take place at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina, promises to be a thrilling contest, as the stakes are high: the hosts have a chance to catch up to Austria for first place in the group, while Rangnick’s team wants to avoid the uncertainty of a promotion-relegation playoff.
Franco Foda will field a 3-4-3 formation for the match. Muriqi will lead the attack; he could be in top form, as 7 of his last 11 starts in which he scored for Kosovo have come at home. The attacking trio will be rounded out by Zabergja and Juventus’ Zhegrova.
Gallapeni and Vojvoda will be tasked with patrolling the flanks, while Avdullahu and Hodza will anchor the midfield alongside Dellova, Krasniqi, and Raçi in defense. Saipi will be in goal.
Ralf Rangnick doesn’t want to squander this golden opportunity to reach 10 points and repeatedly emphasized the importance of a win during the press conference. Adamu will be the main striker, with Wimmer, Wanner, and Schmid behind him. Xaver Schlager and Seiwald will play in midfield in front of the defensive quartet of Veratschnig, Affengruber, Danso, and Wöber. Zawieschitzky will be in goal.
