2026-2027 Nations League: Portugal vs. Norway, Probable Lineups

Portugal and Norway face off at 8:45 p.m. in a match for Matchday 4 of Group 4 in League A of the 2026/2027 Nations League. Setting aside the Cristiano Ronaldo situation, Jorge Jesus’s team is on the verge of clinching the group: against the Scandinavians, they’re aiming for their fourth win in four matches, which would secure them first place in the group. Haaland and his teammates, on the other hand, are coming off two stinging consecutive losses to Wales and Portugal itself and are desperate to bounce back.
Gonçalo Ramos once again leads Portugal’s attack, with João Félix, Bruno Fernandes, and Rafael Leão behind him in the attacking midfield. In midfield are Ruben Neves and Vitinha, with Cancelo and Nuno Mendes at fullback.
Solbakken continues to rely on Haaland as the center forward, with Bobb and Schjelderup on either side of him. In midfield are the two Berges—Sander and Patrick—along with Odegaard.
Portugal vs. Norway: Probable Lineups
Portugal (4-2-3-1): Diogo Costa; Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Veiga, Nuno Mendes; Ruben Neves, Vitinha; Felix, Fernandes, Leao; Ramos. Head Coach: Jorge Jesus.
Norway (4-3-3): Nyland; Pedersen, Ajer, Ostigard, Wolfe; Odegaard, S. Berge, P. Berge; Bobb, Haaland, Schjelderup. Head Coach: Solbakken.
Portugal’s head coach Jorge Jesus tried to keep the team focused ahead of the match: “Ronaldo is and always will be the symbol of the national team and of Portugal, but our focus must be on the game against Norway, on what we need to do well for our people. But that doesn’t mean I’m ignoring ‘Cris.’ He’s a symbol of the Portuguese national team; he’s a symbol of Portugal—let that be clear. After the game, there will be time to talk about it.”
