Torino is about to welcome back Che Adams. The Scottish forward, who had been sidelined since mid-September due to an adductor injury, returned to training with the team on Thursday afternoon and is aiming to play in next Monday’s match against Udinese, scheduled for 8:45 p.m.

The physical issues that forced him to miss his national team duties have been fully resolved: while he isn’t yet in peak condition, the player could come on as early as the second half of the match against Udinese.

With three goals, Adams has been the Granata’s most prolific forward so far this season, and his return could prove decisive for the fortunes of Ignazio Abate’s team.

Who will make way for him? Adams could start in place of either Giovanni Simeone or Nikola Vlasic, depending on how Abate chooses to line up the team. Otherwise, the Scot could come on in the second half to replace one of the two forwards.
