The latest prediction about Jannik Sinner has fans buzzing: “Get ready”

Having overcome the knee injury that has kept him out of action in recent months, Jannik Sinner is ready to make his return at the Six Kings Slam tournament, scheduled for December 27–30 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Italian will test his knee before making his full return to the ATP Tour.
Legendary coach Rick Macci has no doubts about the South Tyrolean’s comeback and shared his thoughts in a post on X: “Jannik Sinner will come back stronger than ever. When a once-in-a-generation talent, armed with an arsenal of devastating shots from every corner of the court, is forced to take a break due to injury, he takes a
negative situation and turns it into an advantage, working on the finer details of his game to evolve for good.”
“In 2027, barring any setbacks, get ready to see the Italian ‘Flamethrower’ at full throttle, ready to strike with devastating power. There’s no doubt that you should bet on the Red Rocket because he has the talent and determination to pocket a couple of Grand Slam titles,” declared the former coach of champions such as Andy Roddick, Jennifer Capriati, Maria Sharapova, Serena and Venus Williams.
During an interview with *La Repubblica*, Jannik Sinner spoke about his knee problem: “Your body is the only opponent you can’t beat; when it tells you to stop, you have to accept it and follow the specialists’ advice,” he explained. I’ve never taken a break, nor have I turned my back on tennis because it hurt me. On the contrary, I’ve always worked very hard—both in the gym and on the court—and with the physical therapists. Patience is the right word for this period.”
Injuries in tennis have become more common: “You need to have a long-term perspective; it’s not just about today. You sow the seeds now, but the harvest comes at a different time. And it’s always the work—the preparation you do—that makes the difference, not luck. Luck helps you win a point, not the match. Injuries are part of the sport; you have to be smart.”
