MotoGp Ducati: Fabio Quartararo turns up the pressure on Pecco Bagnaia
Fabio Quartararo: “It’s normal for Bagnaia to be tense, but I’m definitely not.”
Yamaha centaur Fabio Quartararo said he was satisfied after free practice at the Valencia Grand Prix, the last round of the MotoGp World Championship: “It was a good day, especially on the pace we worked really well, it was good both in the morning and in the afternoon. We have to understand where we lose in the time attack, although we have an idea. We need to improve in some areas, but I feel good to ride, much better than last year,” are the words reported by Motorsport.
Quartararo is looking for a miracle: to win the title he will have to win the race and hope for a 15th or zero-point Bagnaia. “Is Bagnaia tense? It’s normal for Pecco to be tense. Why should I be nervous? I have already told my team and my friends that I will go all the way in this race. Whatever happens we will have fun on Sunday night, but I will not leave here without trying.”
Many people crashed on Friday: “I think everyone is pushing hard, it’s normal to see some crashes. Especially because it’s a difficult track. I don’t think the wind is a problem in some areas. At the exit of turn 11, the wind pushes the front and it’s not comfortable, it’s easy to make a mistake.”
