The Japanese GP, the third round of the F1 World Championship, started several minutes late. In fact, almost 15′ longer wait for Formula 1 fans to enjoy the race in that of Suzuka.

The reason is not related to adverse weather conditions but to an accident that happened, a few hours before the start of the F1 GP, in the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan category.

A major accident that led to the damage of part of the circuit’s protection barriers. Obligatory the intervention of the race commissioners who, in order to put everything back in safety, were forced to communicate to the various teams the decision to postpone the start of the race. A minor mishap that did not dampen the enthusiasm of the many fans present in Suzuka to follow the Japanese GP.
