Repesa happy to have stretched over Treviso: "But more respect" needed;
Jasmin Repesa enjoys his Guerri Napoli’s crucial win in the direct clash against Nutribullett Treviso: “We know it was a must-win game. We felt nervousness with 8 lost at the beginning but we won, I would like to congratulate the guys, staff, management and ownership. I would also like to congratulate our audience. We won but without playing well, an ambitious team with a goal to achieve must think like this.”
“There is a week ahead of us to work and be more fluid on offense. We must have one more pass instead of one more dribble. After a basket scored we must not exult but get back on defense. Caruso in the first half played badly, in the second half he was great,” added the experienced coach of the Parthenopeans. “He was nervous, it means he cared. He missed some layups, in the second half he was good at rebounding and defensive pick and rolls. Sometimes my guys asked for a change because they were tired, we need to improve in intensity, important for both defense and offense.”
“Under pressure we lose too many balls. As in life, we need more respect in basketball. I don’t want superficial passes, we need to be even more connected on offense and defense, keeping the intensity high with 9 men is not easy. We managed the minutes for this as well.
