Taccetti prepares challenge as former: "Tough face with a big one like Brescia"

For the first time, Francesco Taccetti will face Germani as an opponent. It will happen Sunday at 6 p.m. at PalaTrieste, on the 27th day of the championship. It will be a special challenge for the coach from Giulia, who worked in Brescia from 2022 to 2024 on Alessandro Magro’s staff, along with Matteo Cotelli.
“When you are an assistant for so many years you have in your head and in your belly the thought of becoming a boss,” he told the Brescia Newspaper. “I didn’t expect it to happen, running, this year. At the same time, in this time I have created a relationship of esteem with players and clubs. It is a responsibility and an opportunity. I do everything to honor them as best I can.”
“We are recovering some of the injured. We come from two wins. On Sunday, we should put attitude and nerve into figuring out who we can be in front of the big boys. Germani is becoming more and more cynical and ruthless, pass me terms, able to be efficient in games, with so many protagonists. Last year’s playoff series was spectacular. We played it out. Too bad about game-3.”
Danger No. 1 ADV: “He has unquestionable and unquestionable talent. I was lucky enough to coach him. He is very intelligent. He has evolved, improved and refined his approach even in different game situations than he was in in previous years.”
