Matteo Cotelli doesn’t beat around the bush: clear words on Trieste

Reduced by two consecutive successes, obtained against Napoli and Reyer Venezia, and still largely in the running for the number one seed in the playoffs, which allows to play with the court factor in favor in all rounds, Germani Brescia is expected Sunday afternoon (ball at 6 p.m.) from a far from easy away game in Trieste: the alabardati have also won the last two, beating Varese and Udine, and are looking for a big hit to mortgage playoff qualification. Brescia’s coach Matteo Cotelli listed the dangers of the challenge in this sense.
“We are expected to have a very articulated away game and one of the most difficult matches of the season,” he said at the match presentation. “Trieste, like us, has so far recorded the best home roster, where it has collected only two defeats. This factor, already in itself, should make us think about the solidity of our opponents and about the threshold of attention that we will have to set from the contest towards every detail of the challenge.”
“Trieste – added Cotelli – is going through a good moment of form and is back from two consecutive victories, which, thanks also to the new guidance on the bench of coach Francesco Taccetti, to whom I offer my sincerest compliments for the work done, have restored enthusiasm to the entire environment.”
“We come from a valuable victory against Venice, but, now, it will be essential to go on the parquet with the best possible approach and raise the level of our basketball even more. I expect a tough and tough competition, a real playoff appetizer. We want to be ready,” concluded the White and Blue head coach.
