La Liga 2025-2026: Girona-Betis, the probable formations

On Tuesday evening four matches are scheduled for the 32nd day of La Liga. Real Madrid takes the field at 9:30 p.m. at the Bernabeu against Alaves, hoping to shake off the difficulties of recent weeks and still keep alive a championship that seems already decided (Barcelona is +9), against a team in the midst of a fight not to be relegated.
Girona-Betis Sevilla is the other 9:30 p.m. match: the Catalans with a win would be back in the running for a place in Europe, while the Andalusians, who have been winless for more than two months, need to get going again if they are not to miss out on qualification for the European cups next season.
At 7 p.m., the Basque derby between Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna is scheduled: the hosts, defeated four times in their last five matches, and the Pamplona team, which has not won away from home since January, are looking for precious points to rejoin the Europa train.
The other match at 7 p.m. is the salvation challenge between Mallorca and Valencia: the islanders are 15th in the table at 34, the Levantines have one more point but have lost three of their last four games and are in deep crisis.
Girona-Betis, the likely lineups:
Girona (4-2-3-1): Gazzaniga; Arnau, Reis, Blind, Moreno; Beltra, Witsel; Tsygankov, Ounahi, Lemar; Echeverri. All.Michel.
Real Betis (4-3-3): Valles; Ruibal, Bartra, Natan, Gomez; Altimira, Amrabat, Lo Celso; Fornals, Cucho, Ezzalzouli. All.Pellegrini.
