NBA playoffs, fear for Wembanyama: concussion and no more game

Much fear in San Antonio. Spurs star Victor Wembanyama suffered a concussion following a nasty fall during the second quarter of Game 2 of the playoffs, between the San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers, a game the latter later won 106-103 (1-1 in the series).
The French star played only 12 minutes before being placed in the concussion protocol and being excluded from the rest of the game.“All I know is that he has a concussion and is under protocol,” said Spurs coach Mitch Johnson.
Victor Wembanyama’s fall occurred as he drove to the basket with 8’57 left in the second quarter, with Jrue Holiday on defense. He collapsed on the chin court and appeared to lose consciousness, briefly closing his eyes. According to the league’s concussion protocol, a player cannot return to full play for 48 hours after the injury, but can gradually resume activity after 24 hours, provided the symptoms do not worsen.
In the other games, Philadelphia surprised Boston: 111-97 and tied the series at 1-1. Well the LA Lakers who also win game 2 against the Houston Rockets: 101-94 the final. Excellent performance by LeBron James who finished with 28 points, with also eight rebounds and seven assists.
