At Cagliari’s home, work has already begun to settle the team ahead of next season. Fabio Pisacane’s lineup has yet to hit the goal of mathematical salvation, but the 5-point margin over third-last Lecce gives the island’s management hope.

In the summer there will be big changes in the attack and the departure of Semih Kılıçsoy is not ruled out, who, despite the 4 goals scored and the excellent potential put on display, does not seem to have found a great feeling with Fabio Pisacane. “At this moment he does not offer me guarantees from a physical point of view, I hope that from here to the end he will give different answers,” said the coach after the last game against Inter.

To replace the young Turkish talent, who arrived in Sardinia last summer on an onerous loan with the right of redemption from Besiktas, Guido Angelozzi has his eyes on Leicester’s Patson Daka.

The lineup coached by Gary Rowett, after Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Hull City, is mathematically relegated to the English third tier and Daka, who is also on contract expiration, is unlikely to agree to stay at Leicester. The opportunity to buy him for free has attracted the attentions of Cagliari and not only: according to some English sources, several Turkish clubs are also on the trail of the Zambian center forward.
