Juventus is carefully evaluating the profile of David De Gea as a possible solution for the goalkeeper in case the main objective represented by Alisson does not materialize.

The Spanish goalkeeper, currently at Fiorentina, could leave the purple club during the next summer market session, within a broader project of reduction of the payroll wanted by the Tuscan club. In this scenario, De Gea is considered a concrete and ready-made opportunity, capable of guaranteeing experience and solidity at international level without affecting the budget in an excessive way.

From an economic point of view, the operation would be considered sustainable by the Bianconeri management: the player’s salary is in fact around 3.5 million euros plus bonuses, while the player’s card could be valued by Fiorentina at around 10 million. A figure judged to be in line with the club’s current strategies.

For these reasons, De Gea is seen as a profile particularly suited to Juventus’ technical and financial needs, especially with a view to providing Luciano Spalletti (eventual technical guide of the project) with a reliable, experienced and immediately competitive goalkeeper. According to reports in Tuttosport, the Spaniard would therefore represent an ideal compromise between quality, experience and financial sustainability.
