The sports judge forgets Ivaylo Chochev. The Palermo player, who was cautioned in the league match against Napoli, was cautioned and, therefore, should have been disqualified for one round by sports judge Tosel.
At least initially, however, the Rosanero midfielder’s name did not appear on the list of disqualified players presented by the League and teammate Mato Jajalo was cautioned instead.
“Acknowledging that in the report sent was erroneously indicated a caution for misbehavior towards an opponent to the player Mato Jajalo, but from a subsequent referee clarification it appeared that the player Ivaylo Chochev had been cautioned. Resolves to rectify the previous communiqué by cancelling the sanction to footballer Jajalo (Palermo) and to impose a disqualification for one actual day’s match to footballer Chochev (Palermo) for misbehavior towards an opponent; already cautioned (fifth sanction),” reads the revised communiqué of the Lega Serie A.
