Stoner: "I worked my butt off for this"

Casey Stoner is beaming after Ducati’s return to victory in MotoGp thanks to Andrea Dovizioso. The Borgo Panigale team test rider to Sky’s microphones is proud: “It’s very different being in the pits. I had a great experience with Ducati, and the team was going through a very difficult time, but I’ve worked my butt off to get to this point. In the past we had other opportunities to win but we had narrowly missed out.”
“Today, however, we did a perfect job demonstrating the speed of the Ducati on the straight and beyond. I am very happy.”
It was precisely the Australian centaur who had scored the Italian team’s last victory, dating back to 2010.
