Foggia hunts De Zerbi

The Satanelli have played a dirty trick on coach Roberto De Zerbi.

The Brescian has been kicked out of Foggia just weeks before the start of the championship. The risk of destabilizing the environment at such a delicate moment is high, but the club felt it was necessary to proceed with the coach’s removal.

This is the press release that appeared on the official website of the Rossoneri club: “Foggia Calcio communicates that it has relieved the coach Roberto De Zerbi from his post. The coach from Brescia, on behalf of Foggia Calcio, is thanked for his work and wished him the best of luck.”

Last year, De Zerbi’s Foggia had won the 2015-2016 Coppa Italia Lega Pro by beating Cittadella 4-1 in the first leg and drawing 4-4 in the return, and had lost to Pisa in the playoff final for promotion to Serie B.
