After the summer break, MotoGp starts again with… a bang. And not in a figurative sense. During the third free practice session of the Austrian GP, in fact, the world leader Marc Marquez was in fact the protagonist of a nasty fall that gave the world leader a big scare: having arrived long at a braking, in order to avoid the impact with Dani Pedrosa who had taken a wider trajectory, Marquez had to make a sharp braking without managing to avoid the fall.

After a few very long moments spent on the ground, the Spaniard got up again, however, touching his sore shoulder.

The diagnosis is that of a subluxation, but the rider himself managed to retract the shoulder on the way to the pit lane.

Marquez was later given a rigid bandage before being transferred to the Leoben hospital for further checks. The Honda rider finished the session in 9th place, good enough to enter Q2. Sixth place for Rossi, 7 tenths behind the unleashed Ducatis of Iannone and Dovizioso, who led ahead of Vinales and Lorenzo.
