Varese fishes at Treviso and Cantù

In view of building the roster for next season, Varese Basketball is monitoring several profiles. Among the names that have ended up on the notebook of the ambitious red-and-whites there would also be that of Giordano Bortolani, a class of 2000 outside player protagonist of a good year in Serie A with Pallacanestro Cantù, with which he is maintaining an average of 12.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
In spite of Varese’s interest, the Brianza club would still intend to try to keep Bortolani for next season as well, but twists and turns are not excluded.
Another player being followed is Federico Miaschi, also an outside player born in 2000, who currently wears the jersey of Treviso Basket. During this season he is contributing with 4.9 points and an average of 1.8 assists per game, numbers that make him an interesting profile in view of rotations.
As far as outgoing profiles are concerned, Varese will have to resist assaults for Olivier Nkamhoua. The Finnish forward, born in 2000, is traveling in the LBA with averages of 15 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, numbers practically replicated with his own national team, where he has maintained a similar standard with 15 points and 6 rebounds on average.
His performance has not gone unnoticed: according to several rumors, major clubs such as Partizan Belgrade, Red Star, Valencia and Barcelona would have their eyes on him. The fact that he has a European passport makes him particularly interesting, especially for Spanish teams, which have reportedly already moved by making their first soundings and gathering information with a view to next season.
