Immarcesible. CR7, 41 years old, continues to do what he does best: score. He did it again in the match against Al-Ahli, one of the best formations in the league (third in the standings). The Portuguese scored the first of the two goals with which Al-Nassr took home the victory.

A very important victory that is worth +8 in the standings against Ah- Hilal, that is, the team coached by former Nerazzurri coach Inzaghi, which still has a match to make up, however. A victory that brings CR7 closer to two goals he cares so much about: the Saudi Pro League title but also 1000 career goals quota.

The goal, header, with which he opened the scoring against the Ah-Ahli is number 970 in his career. Counting in hand, the Portuguese is -30 away from his dream of hitting 1,000. By now, it’s really a matter of time before we see him celebrate a legendary milestone.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr will return to the pitch on Sunday, May 3, at the Al-Qadisiya ground. The 41-year-old former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus striker, among others, has five more matches to play with Al-Nassr and then it will be on to the World Cup. Scoring 30 goals in so few games seems impossible but it’s best never to bet against CR7.
