For Serie A, Saturday’s 36th day presents some challenges that award crucial points for the race to Europe and the race toward salvation. It begins at 3 p.m. with Cagliari-Udinese, then at 6 p.m. it will be the turn of Lazio-Inter (moreover a preview of the Coppa Italia final, which will see the same two teams opposing each other). Lecce-Juventus closes the program, with kickoff at 8:45 p.m. All Saturday’s matches can be seen on Dazn, with Lazio-Inter and Lecce-Juventus also broadcast on Sky in co-exclusive.

The round had already started Friday night with Torino-Sassuolo, which ended 2-1 in favor of the granata thanks to the comeback signed by Giovanni Simeone and Marcus Pedersen in the second half. The three points allowed Toro to momentarily climb back to 12th place with 44 points, overtaking Parma. Sassuolo, on the other hand, remains at 49 and is in danger of being bypassed by Udinese itself should the Friulians defeat Cagliari in the afternoon.

For Cagliari, the stakes are still high on the salvation front: the Rossoblù, who have already secured their stay in Serie A, are still looking for precious points to consolidate their position. On the opposite front, Cremonese – the other team still fighting not to be relegated along with Lecce – takes the field on Sunday against Pisa. With 32 points, Lecce starts with an advantage in the direct clashes over the Grigiorossi, who are stationary at 28: the Salentini would only need 5 points in the last three matches to reach mathematical salvation.
