Last day: all verdicts still to come, Brescia and Milan for second place

Today, at 5 p.m., the last act of the LBA regular season is scheduled. Several verdicts have yet to be issued. At the moment, only two certainties: Virtus Bologna is already certain of first place in the playoff grid while Dinamo Sassari is mathematically relegated (along with disqualified Trapani).

For the rest, anything can happen. The sprint for second place is interesting. Germani Brescia has the same points as Olimpia Milano but has the advantage in direct matches. If the Leonessa beats, at home, the already relegated Dinamo Sassari (without three key men), a possible Milan victory in Trento will be useless.

Trento, for its part, is still in the running for the eighth and final playoff spot. Aquila is obliged to beat EA7 and hope Varese doesn’t make a splash at home to Virtus Bologna. The V Nere arrive at the last game without great motivation, being sure to have the number 1 seed in the play-offs.

The Reyer Venezia will finish, regardless of the result of the challenge with Tortona in fourth place. Tortona (32 points) and Reggio Emilia (30), on the other hand, will play for fifth and sixth place. Trieste, currently seventh with a two-point lead over Varese, aims to finish in seventh place. In short, today is time for the last verdicts.
