Game Over. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 35 points, Chet Holmgren made the decisive dunk with 32.8 seconds left and the Oklahoma City Thunder swept the Los Angeles Lakers from the second round of the NBA playoffs with a 115-110 victory in Game 4. The series ended 4-0 in favor of the reigning NBA Champions.

OKC thus continues its journey, perfect to date, into the post season, confirming that it is the team to beat. For the Los Angeles Lakers, end of the road. The absence of Luka Doncic, out due to injury, weighed heavily, as did the lack of an antidote to the Thunder’s super defense.

LeBron James put up 24 points and 14 rebounds in the last game of his 23rd season, an unprecedented record for the highest scorer in NBA history, but he missed a penetration shot with 20 seconds left that could have given the Lakers the lead. One wonders whether or not this was his last contest. The 41-year-old All Star has not yet decided what he will do next year.

In the other challenge of the night, nice success for Cleveland, which managed to take home Game 4 (112-103 the final), tying the series with Detroit (2-2). Super performance by Donovan Mitchell, who finished with an impressive 45 points on the scoreboard (39 in the second half).
