Olimpia Milano: no news on Armoni Brooks front, one club is trying

In the Olimpia household, the future of Armoni Brooks is holding court. The red-and-white sharpshooter is expiring his contract with the red-and-whites. For weeks there has been talk of a new deal to prolong his adventure in Milan but, at the moment, there is nothing official.

Many times, Armoni Brooks himself, has reiterated his desire to stay at Olimpia but, clearly, the right offer is needed to get to the classic white smoke. The white and red club would have already made a substantial economic proposal. However, there would be other clubs ready to step up for Armoni Brooks.

In particular, watch out for Partizan Belgrade, which would have put the American on EA7’s roster at the top of its wish list. The Serbian club could put on the plate an economic offer probably higher than Olimpia’s.

It remains to be seen whether, in the end, Armoni Brooks will prefer to stay in an environment that loves him madly and where, after great sacrifices, he has managed to establish himself as one of the pivotal players on the roster at coach Peppe Poeta’s disposal. In the coming weeks there will surely be developments, now the head is to the playoffs. From Saturday begins the series with Reggio Emilia.
