Napoli risks but arrives at the break with three more points: Udinese k.o.
Napoli-Udinese 3-2
Napoli arrives at the long break for the 2022 World Cup with yet another victory in this incredible start to the season (13 successes in 15 matches): Luciano Spalletti’s men defeated a Udinese 3-2 that had been jammed for some time (last success dates back to October 3) and without the injured Deulofeu since midway through the first half, suffering, however, in a finale made hard-fought by two close goals by the guests.
At the ‘Maradona’, the Azzurri took 15 minutes to take the lead: Osimhen overcame Bijol in a physical duel and sent the ball behind Silvestri with a header. Exactly another quarter of an hour passes and 2-0 also arrives: to sign the doubling is Zielinski, with an impeccable right-footed shot for the extreme defender of the Friulans.
In the second half, the home team’s pace remained high until the 3-0, scored in the 58th minute by Elmas, good at taking advantage of Anguissa’s feed. In the last half hour, Napoli again made itself dangerous with Elmas and Osimhen, but it was Udinese who struck, in the 79th and 82nd minutes, with Nestorovski and Samardzic: the last minutes of apprehension for the home fans, but the three points came anyway after just over five minutes of recovery.
