Inter Transfer Market: Meeting with Real Madrid; Several of the Blancos’ surplus players are being targeted

Inter and Real Madrid could soon begin significant transfer talks: Inter president Beppe Marotta will be in the Spanish capital in the coming days on the sidelines of the friendly match between Real Madrid Legends and Inter Legends, where many past champions will face off for charity, and he will meet with the Blancos’ management and recently re-elected president Florentino Perez.
The occasion could also be used to discuss the transfer market: several players surplus to Real Madrid’s requirements are reportedly on the Nerazzurri’s radar, and the club’s transfer team will be making inquiries to assess the feasibility of potential deals. Real Madrid is set to undergo significant changes this summer with the arrival of José Mourinho, and among the potential departures are top-tier names such as winger Rodrygo, attacking midfielders Arda Güler, Brahim Diaz, and Mastantuono, as well as forward Endrick, who is currently playing in the World Cup with the Brazilian national team. All are interesting prospects for Inter, which aims to strengthen its squad without overspending.
It should be noted that the link between Inter and Real Madrid has already been cemented in this transfer window by the sale of Denzel Dumfries to the Blancos, a deal now finalized in detail and awaiting only the official announcement. It is precisely the departure of the Dutch full-back that has forced the Nerazzurri to step up their search for a replacement on the right flank, with Atalanta’s Marco Palestra remaining the top target, even though the Bergamo-based club has no intention of budging from its €50 million asking price.
On the Real Madrid front, Mourinho has already begun shaping the team in his own image: in addition to Dumfries, defender Ibrahima Konaté is set to arrive on a free transfer from Liverpool, and, according to Marca, Bernardo Silva is very close to becoming the third major signing of the new era at Real Madrid. The Portuguese playmaker, formerly of Manchester City, is reportedly a direct request from the Special One and would represent yet another free transfer coup for the Spanish club, following in the footsteps of illustrious predecessors such as David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger.
