Lewis Hamilton’s historic first Formula 1 Grand Prix victory behind the wheel of a Ferrari was a huge hit with TV and streaming audiences. The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, broadcast live at 3 p.m. on Sky Sport F1, Sky Sport Uno, and Sky Sport 4K, drew an average total audience of 1,635,000 viewers, with a 15.4% share and 2,107,000 unique viewers.

Compared to the 2025 edition, the increase is as high as 41%, a figure that places the race on Sunday, June 14, in first place in terms of viewership from 2024 onward. The post-race studio show, featuring interviews and commentary, also drew a significant audience, averaging 930,000 viewers for a 10% share, with 1,757,000 unique viewers.

The free-to-air delayed broadcast on TV8, aired at 6:00 PM, also saw strong viewership: Lewis Hamilton’s first victory for Ferrari in a Sunday race drew an average of 1,405,000 viewers with a 14% share. This growth is also reflected on Sky Sport’s digital platforms, with 620,000 unique users on the website, 4.6 million page views, and 1 million video views.

Sky Sport and Sky Sport F1’s social media channels achieved equally significant results: 2.6 million interactions and 27 million views.
