Juventus Transfer Market: Parma Less Stubborn About Mateo Pellegrino

Given that Paris Saint-Germain has no intention of lowering its asking price for Randal Kolo Muani, Mateo Pellegrino remains at the top of Juventus’ list of attacking targets. The Bianconeri have reportedly already submitted an initial offer to Parma for the Argentine forward, who is valued at around 30 million euros by the Emilia-Romagna club.
The offer is said to include a loan with an option to buy for 5 million euros, with a mandatory buyout clause set at 20 million plus an additional 5 million in bonuses, thus reaching the asking price. Parma, however, would prefer to receive a large portion of the amount immediately in order to have more liquidity to reinvest in the transfer market.
The Gialloblù club’s counteroffer is reportedly 22 million euros guaranteed plus bonuses, slightly lowering the total asking price.
This isn’t the first time Juventus has shown interest in Pellegrino: as early as last December, in the midst of the offensive crisis caused by Dusan Vlahovic’s injury, the Bianconeri had included the Argentine forward on their list of potential winter reinforcements, when his market value was estimated at around 15 million euros. The exponential growth in his market value is a testament to the extraordinary season he’s had playing for Parma.
It’s worth noting, after all, that Pellegrino is no stranger to other Serie A powerhouses either. Last season, Napoli also initiated contact with his representatives, with a view toward a trade involving Lorenzo Lucca, while Milan had seriously evaluated his profile at the suggestion of their executive Giorgio Furlani. The competition to pry him away from Parma is therefore expected to be fierce.
The Emilia-based club, for its part, has demonstrated on multiple occasions that it intends to hold onto its star player. As of February 2026, Parma had already rejected several offers, bolstered by the contract extension the forward signed through 2030. Acquired just one year earlier from Vélez Sarsfield for only 3 million euros, Pellegrino went on to finish the season with 10 goals in 28 games across all competitions—statistics that have driven his value up to the current asking price of 30 million.
