No Udine for him: Denzel Valentine is leaving the LBA and heading to Israel

Denzel Valentine has been linked on several occasions to Apu Udine, but his future lies elsewhere. The 32-year-old American guard now appears set to play outside of Italy—specifically in Israel.
After playing for Olimpia Milano, Pallacanestro Trieste, and, last year, Reyer Venezia, the former Chicago Bulls player has, according to Sportando, reached an agreement with the Israeli club Bnei Herzliya.
This marks a complete change of pace for Denzel Valentine, who is thus leaving the LBA after two seasons and three teams. In her most recent season, she reached the Scudetto final, which her team, Reyer Venezia, ultimately lost to Olimpia Milano (another club where she played, albeit for only a few months).
No Denzel Valentine for APU Udine, which will now be forced to look for other options at the guard position. It’s possible that someone currently playing in the NBA Summer League could join the team.
