Jannik Sinner: The Haters Strike Again—Another Ridiculous Controversy

Jannik Sinner has now achieved global status, and it’s no surprise that people are talking about him every day. The ATP No. 1 is back from his vacation in Sardinia and will now take part in a special cruise aimed at raising funds for his foundation.

On the eve of departure, Sinner was interviewed by *Il Secolo XIX* and discussed his preparations: “Together with my team, we’re already preparing for this second half of the season and our return to hard courts. The first seven months flew by in the blink of an eye, and we achieved excellent results. We’re obviously very happy to have defended our title at Wimbledon—a truly special moment for all of us.”

One of the cruise’s goals is also to promote “Made in Italy” around the world: “In Italy, we’re very lucky—we have the sea, lakes, mountains, and islands. We’re Italian; we know how to enjoy the finer things in life: a nice dinner, a trip to a new place, and time spent with the people we love.”

On social media, several haters have reignited the ridiculous controversy regarding Jannik Sinner’s Italian identity—a futile and utterly baseless issue that nevertheless resurfaces periodically among the haters of the South Tyrolean star.

Numerous Sinner fans responded to the grotesque comments from a few jokers: “Judging by the way you write, he’s much more Italian than you are…” wrote Sabrina, pointing out the many grammatical errors made by the haters.
