Sinner has been undergoing physical therapy sessions at J Medical, staying at a hotel near the Juventus facility. Even on August 15, the Italian continued his treatments, taking a break only today to enjoy a day entirely dedicated to his birthday. Tomorrow, the world No. 1 is expected to return to Turin to resume his recovery program. Next week will be crucial for completing his knee treatment and assessing the situation with his team and medical staff. The goal is to be fully prepared for his departure to the United States, leaving nothing to chance.

There are now 14 days left until the start of the season’s final Grand Slam. Sinner is expected to make his debut on August 30 or 31 and, for the second consecutive time, will enter a Grand Slam without having played any warm-up tournaments. This already happened at Wimbledon, and that precedent gives cause for optimism: despite not having played any official matches in the preceding weeks, the Italian still found a way to go all the way.

Now it remains to be seen in what condition he’ll arrive at Flushing Meadows. Sinner’s talent and hunger are beyond question.
