2026-2027 Premier League: Everton vs. Crystal Palace, Probable Lineups

Everton and Crystal Palace face off at 4 p.m. in their Premier League opener. The Toffees, still under Moyes’s guidance, will be without Iroegbunam and Norgaard, while the Londoners will be led for the first time by Pierre Sage, who has taken over for Oliver Glasner, who has moved to Nottingham Forest.
Everton will feature Beto as their main threat up front, supported by Rohl, Dewsbury-Hall, and Ndiaye. In midfield, Hackney and Armstrong will partner up, while O’Brien and Mykolenko will start at fullback.
Crystal Palace responds with the attacking trio of Larsen, Sarr, and McNeil. In midfield, Wharton and Kamada call the shots, while Mingueza and Mitchell patrol the flanks. The defensive trio consists of Canvot, Richars, and Riad.
Everton vs. Crystal Palace: Probable Lineups
Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Hackney, Armstrong; Rohl, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Beto. Head Coach: Moyes.
Crystal Palace (3-4-3): Henderson; Canvot, Richards, Riad; Mingueza, Kamada, Wharton, Mitchell; Larsen, Sarr, McNeil. Head Coach: Sage.
Here’s what Sage had to say ahead of his debut: “I’ll have to make some choices, but that’s the nature of the job. It’s a good problem to have for me, because when I have alternatives, I can anticipate many scenarios and have several options at my disposal. The new signings are figuring out how we want to play; we’re happy they’re here so we can integrate them into the team right away. We’ll likely bring in two more reinforcements before the transfer window closes.”
