The condition of Victor Osimhen
Victor Osimhen's health condition is again a cause for concern at home in Naples. The Azzurri striker did not travel with the team for the African Cup of Nations semifinal between Nigeria and South Africa because of an abdominal problem.
The Nigerian Football Federation confirmed his condition and announced that Osimhen is receiving medical treatment in Abidjan, where he è remained with part of the medical staff for thorough examinations. If the problem is resolved quickly, è he is expected to join the team later for the game.
It does not appear to be a serious or worrisome situation, but coach Mazzarri and Napoli fans hope to have their striker back soon so they can continue to fight for a Champions League spot in the league and face the round of 16 challenge against Barcelona.
