F1, Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships: The Standings After the Zandvoort Sprint

With his victory in the Sprint Race at Zandvoort, George Russell (Mercedes) gained three points on his teammate Kimi Antonelli, who finished fourth but remains firmly in the lead in the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship standings. The Germany-based team, headquartered in England, also retains the lead in the Constructors’ Championship: it earned a total of 13 points today, compared to 9 for Ferrari, which saw Charles Leclerc finish second and Lewis Hamilton seventh.
