Frosinone Transfer Market: One Signing and One Departure in Defense Confirmed

Frosinone is stepping up its activity as the transfer window draws to a close. The Ciociari announced in an official statement the permanent signing of defender Enzo Tchato from Montpellier.

“Frosinone Calcio announces that it has reached an agreement with Montpellier Hérault Sport Club for the acquisition of the sporting rights of soccer player Enzo Tchato. The defender, born in 2002, joins the Giallazzurri on a permanent basis. The contract will run for four years.” A French-born player who has been naturalized as a Cameroonian citizen, Tchato came up through the ranks at Montpellier, where he made his first-team debut in 2022.

Jeremy Oyono will make way for him; Oyono will transfer to Spezia in Serie B on a loan with an obligation to buy should certain conditions be met. The Gabonese international has left Frosinone after two years.

Frosinone has also reached an agreement to extend the contract of midfielder Giacomo Calò, one of the players central to the club’s plans. According to Sky Sport, the midfielder has signed a contract running through 2029, with a salary adjustment. Calò, 29, has been with Frosinone since 2025: last season, he played a decisive role in the team’s promotion to Serie A, appearing in 37 games and scoring 10 goals in Serie B.
