Juventus Transfer Market: Unexpected Trade with Bologna—the Bianconeri Give It a Shot

Juventus has contacted Bologna to propose a possible trade to be finalized toward the end of the summer transfer window. According to a report in *Il Resto del Carlino*, the Bianconeri are very interested in Bologna’s fullback Juan Miranda.

Born in 2000, Miranda’s contract expires in June 2028: to convince the Rossoblù to consider a transfer, Juventus has offered Juan Cabal—who is set to leave the Turin club—plus a cash adjustment of approximately 7 million euros.

Relations between Juve and Bologna are warm following the deal that brought Jhon Lucumí to Turin, but for now, negotiations aren’t gaining traction: Cabal has reportedly turned down a move to Bologna, and Bologna itself is determined not to let Miranda go. The negotiations could, in any case, resume in the final days of the transfer window if Juventus were to return to the table with a more attractive offer for the player.

This isn’t the first time Cabal’s name has been linked to Bologna during this transfer window. The Colombian defender had already been included as a potential player swap in the deal that eventually brought Jhon Lucumí to Juventus—a transfer in which the fullback played a key role in lowering the cash component demanded by the Rossoblù. In addition to the Colombian player, among the main candidates to leave Turin before the transfer window closes are Teun Koopmeiners—who has reportedly drawn interest from Bournemouth and Saudi Arabia—and Jonathan David, who has so far rejected several offers, including one from Hull City.
