Ducati: Tardozzi Loses His Cool After Marc Marquez’s Victory: “It’s red!”

Marc Marquez triumphs at Misano and takes the lead in the MotoGP World Championship standings. The Ducati rider dominated the Misano Grand Prix from start to finish, making the most of Aprilia’s struggles—from Marco Bezzecchi’s crash to Jorge Martin’s difficult Sunday.

Ducati Corse has released a video showing the celebration at the Borgo Panigale team’s pit wall following Marc Marquez’s victory. Team manager Davide Tardozzi, in particular, couldn’t contain his excitement: first, he punched the pit wall a few times, then he celebrated with the entire team as Marquez crossed the finish line. At one point, he turned to the camera and shouted, “It’s red!”

Tardozzi then entered the pits to join the celebrations with Marc Marquez’s team. Thanks to this victory, the No. 93 rider is one step closer to his tenth world title.

General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna also spoke after the race: “What a victory for Marquez! He really raced like Marc. There’s not much else to add. He managed everything perfectly throughout the race—from start to finish. There’s still too much time and too many races left to start thinking about the title. Time is certainly on our side—after all, we’ve made a fantastic comeback so far. We’ll keep our feet firmly on the ground, though,” he told DAZN.
