Jannik Sinner: Another Possible Withdrawal Could Become a Major Issue

Jannik Sinner’s ever-changing schedule continues to be the talk of the town. The South Tyrolean, who hasn’t played an official match since July 13—the day of his Wimbledon triumph—is preparing for his return to the court, which is expected to take place in a couple of weeks at the ATP 500 in Beijing.

Following that, the South Tyrolean is expected to remain in Asia for the Shanghai Masters 1000 and the now-classic—as well as extremely lucrative—“Six Kings Slam” in Saudi Arabia. If everything goes according to plan physically, Sinner’s season will then conclude in Europe with the ATP 500 in Vienna, the Masters 1000, and the ATP Finals in Turin, for which he has already qualified.

The only real question, as always, concerns the Davis Cup, scheduled for November 24–29 in Bologna. Sinner, after his controversial withdrawal last season, could return to wear the Azzurri jersey, but another absence cannot be ruled out, given that by that point his knee would once again be overloaded with hours of play.

Jannik Sinner does, however, have a good relationship with journalists—and with one in particular who could have become just that… Born in Copenhagen in November 2000 and raised in Svendborg, Denmark, his girlfriend Laila Hasanovic also lived in the United States for a year. During her time in Kentucky, she attended a school with a curriculum focused on writing and journalism—interests that initially seemed poised to shape her professional future.

Her career then took a different path. The first content she shared on social media and her collaborations in the beauty industry allowed her to make a name for herself and attract the attention of major international brands. What began as a passion thus gradually transformed into a full-fledged career. Her journey also includes experience in beauty pageants. In 2019, Hasanovic reached the finals of Miss Universe Denmark, a milestone that helped bring her even closer to the world of fashion and communications.

Even before her name gained wider recognition due to her relationship with Jannik Sinner, the Danish model had already established her own professional identity in the fashion and beauty industries. Today she works as a model, content creator, and entrepreneur, and through her social media channels she primarily shares content focused on fashion, travel, beauty, and skincare. Throughout her career, she has also collaborated with international brands such as Armani Beauty and Prada Beauty.
