Two cycling races in Piedmont have been canceled

Adriano Amici’s GS Emilia has informed the Professional Cycling League that the second edition of the Tessile & Moda Trophy – Municipalities of Valdengo and Biella and the Tessile & Moda Trophy – Valdengo-Oropa, initially scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, and included in the Coppa Italia delle Regioni calendar, will not be able to take place.

The races, organized by GS Emilia, were the subject of careful evaluation by all parties involved. However, during the preparation phase, certain objective organizational and operational difficulties arose that make it impossible to guarantee the events will take place under the necessary conditions.

The decision was made with regret and a sense of responsibility, in light of the need to ensure adequate organizational, logistical, and safety standards.

The Professional Cycling League and Adriano Amici’s GS Emilia wish to thank the institutions, local governments, sponsors, sports clubs, volunteers, and everyone who supported the project and contributed to the preparation of the events.

We remain committed to promoting the areas of Biella, Oropa, and Valdengo, as well as the entire Piedmont Region, and to continue the project related to the Trofeo Tessile & Moda – Valdengo-Oropa, with the hope of being able to bring the event back to the professional cycling calendar in the near future.
