Ramagli mentions his “twin,” Scariolo, after the third straight win

Ramagli was obviously very pleased after the win over Reggio Emilia, the Scaligeri’s third straight victory. “It was a great win. We played a high-level game against a very tough team. These are the toughest games, because you’re playing against teams that have already gone through difficult moments last season and overcome them through hard work and dedication.”
“As you saw, they left no stone unturned in their attempt to come back. That’s why this victory deserves double credit: for managing to stay in control of the game for practically 40 minutes and then for sealing the deal just as they were closing in dangerously. I’m very proud of the team’s performance, and I think the fans should be too.”
“Beyond what the scoreboard says, this morning I read a wonderful post by one of Italy’s greatest coaches, who shares only my birthday with me (April 1, 1961, for the man from Brescia; April 1, 1964, for the man from Livorno, ed.): Sergio Scariolo. He said that what matters is culture—that is, hard work, good habits, and the ability to make good decisions. This means trying to instill that culture, and I believe the team is doing just that.”
“The standings are obviously encouraging, but the way the guys play on the court really gives the impression of a group that works hard, is developing good habits, and is trying to make good decisions. That’s no small thing.”
